Yahweh’s Love Manifested: A Reflection at Yahweh Temple in Chattanooga**Posted on June 26, 2020, by Norman, Yahweh Temple in Chattanooga, we are reminded daily of the profound truth expressed in John 3:16-17: “For Yahweh so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life. For Yahweh sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” This scripture captures the essence of Yahweh’s love and His desire to see all who believe in Yahshua experience salvation.Additionally, the message of 1 John 4:16 resonates deeply with us: “And we have known and believed the love that Elohim hath to us. Yahweh is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in Elohim, and Elohim in him.” This reinforces our understanding that Yahweh’s nature is rooted in love—a love that extends from the Old Testament through to the New Testament. It is often said that the Elohim of the New Testament embodies love, while the Elohim of the Old Testament is portrayed as angry or vengeful. However, at Yahweh Temple, we passionately disagree with this notion. Throughout the scriptures, we see a consistent portrayal of Yahweh as a loving and merciful Father. Yes, lessons from events like the Great Flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah highlight Yahweh’s justice, but they do not overshadow the repeated themes of love and mercy found within the Bible. As we gather in worship and study at Yahweh Temple, we reflect on two crucial scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All scripture is given by inspiration of Yahweh, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of Elohim may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” and Malachi 3:6: “For I am Yahweh, I change not.” These scriptures remind us that Yahweh’s essence is unwavering, and His love transcends time. The passage that particularly inspires our community is Micah 6:8: “He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Yahweh require of thee but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim?” This command echoes through our fellowship in Chattanooga, urging us to cultivate a loving relationship with Yahweh, just as any devoted parent desires closeness with their children. To further illustrate Yahweh’s unwavering love and mercy, here are some Old Testament scriptures that affirm His character:- Genesis 6:8: “But Noah found grace in the eyes of Yahweh.”- Exodus chapters 3-13 recount the remarkable narrative of how Yahweh liberated His people from Egyptian bondage, demonstrating His constant care.- Deuteronomy 7:7-9 reminds us that Yahweh chose Israel not for their numbers but because He loves them and is faithful to His covenant.- Psalm 103:1-8 beautifully outlines Yahweh’s compassion:

“Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.”In our gatherings, we recognize that Yahweh desires for us to know Him and trust in His love, which can be as steadfast as the mountains that surround our beloved Chattanooga. His promises endure, and He invites us all into a relationship characterized by lovingkindness and trust.Jeremiah 31:1-3 resonates particularly with us: “Yahweh hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” This verse encapsulates the hope we share in our community, knowing that Yahweh’s love is ever-present, always beckoning us closer. At Yahweh Temple in Chattanooga, may we continue to reflect on and share the depth of Yahweh’s love, as revealed through Yahshua, so that others may experience this incredible grace and mercy. Let us uplift each other in faith, celebrating Yahweh’s unchanging love as we walk together in His light.
